Had a fantastic time with friends at this lovely spot! We enjoyed fishing on the River Frome and tried our hand at falconry, which was a blast. The hotel has beautiful grounds, and the staff are super friendly and helpful. Breakfast was just outstanding, and we were sad to leave. Can't wait to come back and experience the afternoon tea again!
The only downside was that the Wi-Fi in our room was a bit spotty at times, which made it hard to stay connected.

the hotel is set in a beautiful village, the grounds are lovely, and my room was super comfy with its own conservatory. the staff were really friendly which made our stay enjoyable and they even sent us off with some delicious shortbread! dining from the terrace menu in the whiskey bar was a great experience too, especially with our dog by our side.
the bathroom could use some updating as it felt a bit basic and there were some loose tiles near the toilet. also, it was a bit noisy at night with other guests passing by.

Perfect country escape
We stayed 6 nights in a cozy double and were blown away! The spa was an absolute treat with no rush at all. Staff were super friendly, especially Buster and Phill, who made us feel right at home. The food? Absolutely delish! Just wished the hot tub had more privacy. Such a lovely weekend getaway!

We had a delightful stay! The kids loved exploring the expansive garden, and our evenings were spent enjoying beautifully prepared meals at the restaurant. A highlight was discovering the walking trails nearby, perfect for a family stroll. The staff made sure we felt at home!
In my wife’s opinion, we found it tough navigating the stairs with our little one. A more accessible layout would be fantastic.

A Tranquil Escape with Exceptional Service
What a delightful stay! The beautiful grounds combined with the attentive staff truly made this a memorable experience. Our Superior King room was spacious and charming, with lovely touches like complimentary shortbread. Breakfast was a highlight, featuring a variety of delicious options to fuel the day. the bathroom could use some updating as it felt a bit basic in comparison to the rest of the hotel.

Impressive spa facilities with a well-heated indoor pool provide a relaxing atmosphere, perfect for unwinding after a long day. Beautiful, well-maintained grounds make for an inviting and tranquil environment, ideal for leisurely strolls or enjoying breakfast outdoors.
The dinner menu prices hit the high-end mark, feeling £20 out of line for the quality offered, leaving me wishing for better value. Some areas, like the poolside, could use more consistent cleanliness, as the decorative water feature appeared neglected, detracting from the overall experience. Wi-Fi signal faltered, making it tricky to stay connected during downtime. A less-than-comfortable experience arose from stained towels during our stay, which felt uncharacteristic for the price point.
